Field Services Representative Position in Connecticut

Responsible for maintaining client satisfaction by providing on-site maintenance and repair of company and client equipment. Contributes to revenue objectives through the sale of service agreements, parts and accessories to clients within territory.

Qualifications:

  • Applied Science degree or equivalent, directly related experience with major emphasis in electronics or biomedical electronics
  • 3rd party certified BMET, CET or BMD
  • Proficient computer skills, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
  • 2+ years maintenance and repair of general biomedical equipment or closely related field like copy machines
  • Strong time management skills and work ethic

LG Electronics is currently looking for Factory Service Technicians nationwide. This position requires 100 percent travel within local service areas and is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining LG in warranty consumer products/equipment. We are willing to train those individuals who have electronics repair experience in appliances and those that have appliance experience in electronics.

Responsibilities: Identify and analyze repairs and product failures to ensure customer satisfaction. Orders and replaces parts as needed. Maintain company vehicle and equipment. Generate daily reports and submit warranty claim forms. Rely on their judgment for personal safety regarding work.

Qualifications: Knowledge of electronics inspection/repair at a level normally acquired through the achievement of an Associate's degree in electronics, related field, or equivalent experience. Possess appropriate Refrigerant Handling Certificate, CET, and other applicable certifications within 90 days, soldering skills, electronics and refrigeration, knowledge of advanced tools and diagnostic test equipment, 1-2 years; previous field service experience, experience in repair of appliances and/or electronics, ability to use specified tools and test equipment, intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and proprietary software, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, valid driver's license and clear driving record, and meet physical requirements generally associated with field repair, viz. lifting, bending, et al.  Preference will be given to those applicants with current Electronics or Appliance certifications from or equivalent to ISCET CET or NASTeC Basic Appliance Service.
